When we asked Quentin Crisp to put his name to our new Scotch Whisky we realised that we were the first company to go one step further than marketing existing brands of Scotch to the Gay community.
Our product is bottled specifically for the Gay community. Robert Burns the famous Scottish poet wrote " Freedom and whisky gang thegither " which is Scots for freedom and whisky go together. Quentin in his own way courageously pursued the freedom to exist on his own terms and that is why we asked him to become involved with our product.
The whisky is filtered and bottled straight from the cask in which it was matured. Unlike most processes which involve dilution to ensure uniformity over millions of bottles, ours guarantees that the 200 or so bottles from each cask are subtly different from those from another cask. We bottle at a typical strength of 58% alcohol by volume, 118% American proof.
Don't let the strength put you off. Drink it neat (as Quentin does), with water, with soda or as a cocktail ingredient. You won't be disappointed. This Scotch is smooth. Each label bears the number of the cask from which the whisky was bottled and if you are a bit of a sleuth you might be able to work out from which distillery the whisky came.
